Beaumont, TX; October 20, 2020 - The McFaddin-Ward House (MWH) will host a community-wide scavenger hunt, Our House is Your House: Key Hunt, November 9-13 with prizes given to the winners.

10 brass skeleton keys will be hidden throughout community locations in Beaumont. Clues will be posted on social media on Monday, November 9. “Here at the McFaddin-Ward House, our house is always your house,” Bel Morian, MWH’s interim director, said. “As we approach a time of thanksgiving, the MWH wishes to give back and create a little fun by sharing some of our wonderful local offerings. We hope the community will channel their inner Sherlock Holmes and come find some keys to great prizes!”

Contest entrants are asked to be respectful of property. No digging or rearranging of objects is required to find the keys. Once a key is found, it should be brought to the McFaddin-Ward Administration Building at 725 Third Street, Beaumont, Texas 77701 for prize retrieval.
